Background: I'm not an assembler, but I have put together a wide variety of things over the years; some at work, some at home. An ordinary wrench works, but there's room for improvement. So I finally sat down and created something new. The following isn't exactly in the order that features unfolded, but it's a fun way to describe my journey.
The narrated stories are on YouTube and our social media accounts. Here's a quick summary.
Preface
Albert uses all sorts of tools, including a humble wrench.
1
I wish the nut would stay in place.
2
I wish the holder had a hole in the middle so the bolt shank could go through.
3
I wish the wrench was marked with the machine screw number.
4
I wish I had both sizes on the same wrench.
5
I wish my wrench was also a bit driver.
6
I wish the wrench had a magnet for every hex opening.
7
I wish the wrench supported all 4 sizes.
8
I wish the wrench was light enough to stay in place.
9
I wish the wrench had a notch so the metal only fits in the holder one way.
10
I wish the wrench would indicate where it's from.
11
I wish the wrench had a mascot.
12
I wish the wrench had a name.
The next time he reached for his wrench, it was complete. "PumaWrench".
The end.
